Fairfield Auction is one of the premier estate auction galleries in New England, specializing in paintings,  antique furniture and decorative arts. Owners Jack and Rosie DeStories  have served individuals and executors for a combined 40 years.  Since 1988, they have helped to sell over $50,000,000 of antiques and fine art, serving over 12,000 consignors.  They have also helped sell several important pieces of real estate including a 300 acre ocean front property for $6,100,000 and a five acre subdivision of raw land for over $1,000,000.    They have also conducted over 100 fund raising auctions for many worthy local causes, generating over $5,000,000.

Jack is a 1986 graduate of Santa Clara University.   He has been appraising  antiques and fine art for the past eighteen years. His auction experience includes estimating, cataloging and all phases of marketing.  He has been recognized as an expert witness in the field of antiques and fine art in the Bridgeport Superior Court and he has donated his expertise to over 40 antique appraisal events for various local schools, churches, museums and historical societies.

Rosie is a 1987 graduate of Santa Clara University. She has managed consignments from inventory to reconciliation for over 350 estate auctions and is also an accomplished auctioneer and fundraiser, generating over $5,000,000 for non-profit organizations since 1990.

Fairfield Auction maintains a staff of consultants in various areas of expertise to ensure that all items are properly estimated, cataloged and promoted.  Additionally, all auctions are well staffed to better serve our buyers.
