WHAT'S IT WORTH? Fairfield Auction offers ongoing appraisals on-site throughout southern New England. Every Tuesday our gallery is open from 10am to 1pm for free evaluations of up to five items.  Our specialists will also come to you when there is an entire estate, many items or large items to evaluate.  Furniture, paintings,  jewelry, silver, carpets, porcelains, lamps, vintage automobiles and objects of curiosity can be appraised.  On-site verbal appraisals are free when property is being considered for sale.  Private appraisals can be arranged by calling our offices at (203) 364-1555. PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL SERVICES Written fair market value appraisals are available at a fee of $135 per hour including travel and preparation.  Appraisal charges may be refunded when a substantial consignment is made from the appraised goods within six months.
